Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Synthific collects, uses, and shares information when you use the service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: Clerk may process your email address, name, profile details, IP address, session identifiers, and authentication information when you sign in.
  • Prompts and schemas: We process the prompt text and schema information you submit to provide schema inference and data generation.
  • Technical and log data: Vercel and our infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request metadata, timestamps, and server logs for hosting, security, and reliability.
  • Newsletter information: If you subscribe, we send your email address to Resend to manage the newsletter contact list.
  • Usage information: Vercel Analytics may collect usage and device information for product analytics. PostHog may be used for analytics and session replay if enabled in a future version.
  • Consent information: CookieYes stores and manages your cookie preferences.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure Synthific, infer schemas, generate requested output, respond to support requests, send newsletters when requested, understand product usage, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing and private data

Your custom prompts, schemas, and seed data are kept private within the Synthific experience and are not used by Synthific to train our models. We do not sell this content or use it to build advertising profiles. Schema inference uses Google Gemini, so the prompt content necessary to perform that request is sent to Google and may be processed under Google's applicable terms and privacy practices. Do not submit secrets, production personal data, or other information you are not authorized to share. Bulk synthetic row generation runs locally in the application after schema inference.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

CookieYes manages consent for cookies and similar technologies. Essential technologies may be used for authentication, security, and core functionality. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are used only according to your choices.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share information with subprocessors that help operate Synthific:

  • Vercel: hosting, deployment, serverless infrastructure, and analytics.
  • Google Gemini API: AI-powered schema inference from submitted prompts.
  • Clerk: authentication and session management.
  • Resend: newsletter contact management and contact-form email delivery.
  • CookieYes: cookie consent and preference management.
  • PostHog: analytics and session replay if enabled in the future.
  • Stripe: payment processing if paid subscriptions are introduced.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Newsletter subscriptions remain in Resend until you unsubscribe or we remove them.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, and in particular under the GDPR for users in the European Union and European Economic Area, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data. You may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can change cookie choices using the Cookie settings control. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Synthific is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the service changes. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through our Contact Us page. The data controller is Oguz Guzel.
